Batavia Power Plant

The Batavia Power Plant is located in the City of Batavia, Genesee County, New York State. This plant, a sister to the Sterling facility, is also configured as a one-on-one combined cycle/cogeneration facility. The 62 MW plant utilizes clean-burning natural gas as the primary fuel to fire the GE Frame 6 gas turbine.

Originally built in 1992, Alliance acquired the plant in 2005.
